Ed Han is a first-generation immigrant; his family moved to the U.S. from Korea when Ed was two years old. He went on to become a school teacher, a federal prosecutor, a member of the Air Force Reserves, and a university professor. Now, he has decided to enter the political arena to represent California’s 44th State House district.

In this episode, Ed talks about his lifelong commitment to service, path to politics, and how New Politics Leadership Academy programs have influenced his journey. Since it is AAPI Heritage Month, he discusses what it’s like running for office as an Asian American.
